I’ve been in civil construction since I was fresh out of high school, and for over 20 years, it’s been more than just a job—it’s been a way of life. I started as a laborer, worked my way up to superintendent, and learned everything I know through hands-on experience. That journey taught me the value of hard work, accountability, and treating people right. Now, I’m proud to take everything I’ve learned and put it into MB Civil Construction—a company I’ve built alongside my longtime friend and business partner, Josh.
He and I share the same values when it comes to running a business: be honest, do quality work, and take care of people. Especially our clients, our crews, and our community. But for me, this company is also personal. I’m doing this for my family—to provide for them and to be more present in their lives. I want to build a future where I can lead with integrity on the job and still be there for the moments that matter most at home. MB Civil is a reflection of that commitment, and I’m proud of the path we’re on.
After finishing my time in the Navy, I knew I wanted to build something of my own—something real and lasting. I spent the next 17 years working through every level of construction, from the field to project management, learning the industry hands-on. Starting MB Civil was a way to take everything I’ve learned and put it into a company built on honesty, hard work, and doing things the right way. I didn’t want to chase every job out there—I wanted to focus on delivering quality work across residential, commercial, and public projects while making a real impact in the communities we work in.
I also wanted to create a company that gave me more control over my future—not just professionally, but personally. Building MB Civil has given me a chance to provide for my family while being more present in their lives when it counts. I’m proud to be doing this with a great friend and business partner, Terry. We’ve spent years working together, and we share the same mindset: treat people right, do quality work, and build something worth standing behind. That’s what MB Civil is all about.
MB Civil Construction, LLC was founded in 2023 by longtime friends and industry veterans Josh Beloit and Terry Mink, driven by a shared vision: do the work right, treat people well, and build something that lasts. Josh, a former military servicemember turned project manager, and Terry, who rose from laborer to superintendent, built MB Civil on mutual respect, integrity, and a commitment to quality.
